Hans Bosman Hans Bosman is active in venture capital for over 25 years. Since 1987, after 11 years at KPMG in Amsterdam, he has been instrumental in the start and further development of Atlas Venture, an international venture capital partnership. Next to that he was in 2008 founder of Duke Forest, also an internationally operating venture firm. Since 2005 also active as trusted advisor, strategic consultancy usually in start-up or transition situations. Regular sparring partner or managing processes in growth projects in, among other, ICT and disruptive technologies towards a new phase. Several board seats. Masters Degree in Business Economics from the Free University of Amsterdam.
Erik de Heus Erik de Heus has started his career with Hewlett-Packard in different sales and general management roles in Netherlands, Switzerland and the US. Focusing on Financial Services, remarketing of used equipment and creating different businesses to support the overall HP product sales activities. After that he was for 7 years CEO of Oxxio, growing the company almost from inception to 800.000 customers through a buy and build strategy. Oxxio was acquired in 2005 by Centrica preventing an IPO planned for mid 2005. After that Erik has created several businesses for Philips, Assetgrip and within Personal Health Solution where Erik is partner. He studied business economics at the Free University in Amsterdam, is an active golfer, is married with two sons.
Berend van Gessel Berend van Gessel is active as an entrepreneur since 1994. After obtaining his Bachelor degree at HEAO Small Business of the Haarlem Business school he held several positions at (among others) Dijker & Doornbos Chartered Accountants (now known as BDO) and Omegon Computersystemen (now known as Unit 4 Agresso). Berend has attributed to the birth and growth of the successful retail formula MyCom. At the moment Berend is actively investing in start-ups through Newport Invest B.V.
