Floris van Alkemade Floris van Alkemade has been actively involved with startups since 1998. From 1998 to 2008 he was a general partner at NeSBIC CTe Fund, EUR 210M value added venture capital funds having invested in 38 early stage technology companies in Europe and US. In 2000 he managed the NeSBIC CTe Fund office in Silicon Valley, US. At the end of 2005 he founded, together with Robert Wilhelm and Herman deLatte, Solid Ventures to invest in Dutch based technology companies. In addition Floris has helped numerous startups as business angel and coach. Before starting in venture capital Floris worked at Unisource NV, a pan-European telecommunications company, the investment bank MeesPierson NV and the consulting firm Andersson Elffers Felix BV. He has a Masters Degree in Business Econometrics from the Free University of Amsterdam. Floris is an active member of the board of several companies, amongst which Layar and BoosterMedia and he is a director of TSOC.
Herman DeLatte Herman DeLatte combines a strong international and operational software background with 10 years of venture capital experience. Herman is also an investor and partner in Big Bang Ventures (Antwerp) and the Greenventures funds (Mumbai and Katmandu). From 2000 to 2008  he was at the NeSBIC CTe Funds as general partner. He was previously CEO of ON Technology (Nasdaq:ONTC) in Boston for 3 years. Prior to ON Technology he was COO of Micrografx(Nasdaq:MGXI)  in Dallas for 3 years, after spending 3 years as senior VP and general manager of the same company’s international subsidiaries. Before joining Micrografx he served as Managing Director in major areas of Europe for Ashton-Tate Corporation(Nasdaq:TATE). During the first 10 years of his career, he held various development, account management, sales and sales management functions at Control Data and co-founded 2 software companies in The Benelux, Ores and Madesu. Herman DeLatte holds a Graduate Degree in Computer Science from The Lindelei College in Belgium. He is a member of the board of several companies. Areas of expertise in the software business: Business Intelligence, Energy Technology , Business Process Management ,  Infrastructure Management and Cloud computing.
Robert Wilhelm Robert Wilhelm has over 25 years of experience in venture capital, mergers & acquisitions, business development and entrepreneurship. He is also a partner at the growth capital Crossmedia Fund at Van den Ende & Deitmers Venture Capital Partners. He was the founding managing partner of NeSBIC CTe Fund, a value added venture capital group investing in early stage technology companies in Europe and USA, that he founded in 1997. He was previously a Senior Executive Mergers & Acquisitions of the pan European telecommunications joint venture Unisource NV for 4 years. Prior to Unisource, he had over 5 years of international venture capital experience at Atlas Venture in Amsterdam and Boston. He has an MBA from Rotterdam School of Management / Erasmus University and a Masters Degree in Law from the University of Amsterdam. He is an active and committed member of the board of several companies.
